Industrial Packer (m/f)

Job description

• Industrial packaging of large and small machines and parts using various methods and standards with the aim of safe packaging, transport, and delivery to customers around the world.
• Work is performed exclusively in halls and enclosed spaces.
• Break rooms, a canteen with hot meals, and sanitary facilities are available at the workplace.
• Workers handle various machines (cranes, forklifts, hoists) and tools (pneumatic guns, drills, welders, burners, etc.).

Salary information:

• The salary amount varies significantly depending on experience, skills, permits, and whether accommodation is paid for or not.

Working hours

• Working hours: 8 hours per day (breaks not included).
• Overtime and Saturday work are duly paid according to the agreed rate.
• Possible Saturday work up to a maximum of 2 times per month.
• Up to a maximum of 10.5 working hours per day, that is up to a maximum of 48 hours per week.
• Workers are expected to be willing to work in shifts: first shift 08:00 - 16:30, second shift 13:00 - 21:30.

Further advancement depends on knowledge, commitment, and acquired skills.

Workers with experience in industrial packaging have the right to negotiate a higher starting salary.

Knowledge and qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, carpentry, or construction is desirable.
• Category B driving licence desirable, but not mandatory.
• Good computer skills.
• German and English language skills (desirable).
