Location: Jylland (Jutland), Denmark

Earnings: hourly pay with an attractive package and competitive supplements (total earnings in the range of piecework earnings in the construction sector)

Are you ready for a new professional opportunity as an overhead line installer? Several dedicated and ambitious workers are being sought to work on a major infrastructure project. The electrification of the railway line is currently underway, and the next phase covers the section between Aarhus and Aalborg. Due to the scope of the work, additional installers are needed to help deliver the project, which runs approximately from July 2026 to August 2027.

Job description

As an overhead line installer, you will have an important role in maintaining and improving railway infrastructure. Your tasks include:

  • building new systems: potential equalization, return current, and overhead line network
  • reconstruction and modifications on overhead line installations
  • maintenance and servicing work on systems
  • installing protective grounding for contractors working near the overhead line network
  • issuing permits and temporary protective grounding of equipment and machinery

Requirements

Candidates are expected to:

  • have experience in similar jobs or relevant technical education
  • have an aptitude for working with mechanical systems and a curious approach to technical challenges
  • work responsibly, precisely, and with quality
  • be able to work independently and in a team
  • respect safety procedures and have a developed awareness of occupational safety
  • be flexible regarding working hours and location (weekend work is possible; the job is mostly carried out at night, with occasional daytime work)
  • hold a driver's license
