INSTALLATION MANAGER FOR GLASS FACADES AND ALUMINIUM JOINERY

MDR TECH d.o.o. specializes in the installation of ventilated and glass facades and aluminium joinery on commercial, residential, and public buildings.

Due to continuous growth and new projects, we are looking for an experienced and responsible installation manager for glass facades and aluminium joinery who can independently organize works, coordinate the installation team, and communicate with project participants.

The place of work is projects in Germany, Austria, and Croatia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• organization and daily management of the installation team on the construction site
• coordination of works with the site manager, foreman, technical preparation, and other contractors
• assignment of workers and tasks according to the installation plan and deadlines
• organization of the installation of glass facades, aluminium windows, doors, sliding walls, and other aluminium elements
• reading and interpretation of technical, workshop, and installation drawings
• transfer of measurements and details from technical documentation to the construction site
• control of the proper, quality, and timely execution of works
• control of dimensions, position, levelness, functionality, and finishing of installed elements
• organization of the receipt, unloading, storage, and distribution of materials
• timely reporting of material shortages, technical problems, and deviations from project documentation
• monitoring completed quantities, working hours, additional works, and delays
• maintaining daily photo documentation and basic work records
• taking care of the tidiness of the construction site, tools, and equipment
• implementation and control of occupational safety measures

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We expect candidates to have:

• at least 5 years of experience in managing glass facade installation teams
• proven experience in the installation of glass facades and aluminium joinery
• good knowledge of aluminium systems
• active knowledge of the German language sufficient for independent communication on the construction site
• very good reading of technical and installation drawings
• ability to independently plan, coordinate, and organize works
• ability to lead people, give clear instructions, and control completed tasks
• responsibility for the quality, deadlines, and performance of the installation team
• independence in decision-making and problem-solving on the construction site
• precision, reliability, and a professional attitude toward the client and colleagues
• willingness to work and stay on projects in Germany, Austria, and Croatia
• category B driving licence
• consistent adherence to technical standards and occupational safety rules

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• experience working on larger commercial and public buildings
• experience with Pfosten-Riegel facades, unitized facades, and the installation of large glass elements
• experience in keeping records of completed quantities and additional works
• basic knowledge of programs for reviewing technical documentation and digital reporting
