The Austrian state agency for air traffic control has announced a new wave of recruitment for positions that carry exceptional responsibility, but also financial conditions that are rarely attainable in other sectors.

Austro Control is the institution responsible for the safety of Austrian airspace and is currently seeking candidates for air traffic controller positions (m/f/d) throughout the country. The formal requirements include completed secondary education, that is, a general school-leaving exam or an academic degree. Excellent knowledge of German at the C1 level is essential, as well as good command of English.

In addition to formal qualifications, candidates must possess specific cognitive abilities. This includes excellent spatial orientation, the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, and the capacity to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
