Average Net Salaries at dm Rise to Nearly €1,900, Revenue Up 10.04%

dm-drogerie markt confirmed its leading position on the Croatian market, recording significant business growth while also highlighting record investment in its employees, whose average net salary reached an impressive 1,892.51 euros.
On Thursday, November 13, 2025, dm's Management Board presented the public with the business results for the 2024/2025 financial year, covering the period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. The company achieved total revenue of 571.06 million euros, representing strong growth of 10.04 percent compared to the previous financial year.
The central part of the announcement, although not stated in the official press release but presented at the conference, is the information on employee earnings. The average net salary for employees in dm stores, calculated on the basis of 14 annual payments and full working hours, excluding management, amounted to a generous 1,892.51 euros.
Investment in the network and customers
Director of dm Mirko Mrakužić emphasized that continuous investment in the business remains a priority, with a focus on developing the digital network and stable prices.
"In the past financial year, we invested more than 10 million euros in the development of the sales network and digitalization, and an additional 2.5 million euros in prices," said Mrakužić, adding: "We opened two new stores in Vodice and Ivanec, and today we are present in 180 stores in 68 cities, while we are available to customers anytime and anywhere thanks to the dm online shop. Ahead of us is a year in which we are marking the 30th anniversary of doing business in Croatia, during which we will continue to invest in the development of our offer and services, and our customers can also expect numerous surprises and new features."
Online business achieved significant growth, with the number of purchases exceeding 350,000 and online revenue reaching 21.4 million euros. Two thirds of all customers use the 'Moj dm' application for this purpose.
Sustainability and care for the community
For many years, dm has stood out for its care for employees and the community, which was also confirmed by customers. In a survey conducted among 12 retail chains, as many as 78 percent of respondents stated that dm cares the most about its employees.
Gordana Picek, head of dm's procurement and marketing division for the Adria region, paid special attention to socially responsible business and support for local producers.
"In every segment of its business, dm strives to act sustainably and responsibly toward the community, and assortment development and support for Croatian producers play a key role in this," Picek pointed out, adding: "Thanks to the competition, we expanded the offer of sustainable products and will also support the business development of our new partners, OPG Pocedulić from Gornji Kućan and Delfing from Krk. Products made from Varaždin buckwheat can already be purchased in the dm online shop today, while sustainable keychains by Delfing will be available in dm's seasonal assortment during 2026."
In the past financial year, the company hired 131 new employees and entered the new financial year with a total of 2,310 employees, confirming its commitment to investing in people. In the next financial year, an investment of more than 14 million euros is planned, with an emphasis on modernizing the sales network and even better integration of the online and retail network.
