The company NTKA d.o.o., headquartered in Maribor, is currently looking for seven carpenters, masons, and rebar workers to work on construction sites in Austria in Innsbruck, Bregenz, and Lienz.

The job starts immediately, and the conditions offered by the employer are among the more concrete ones on the market.

How much can you earn?

The net hourly wage ranges from 15 to 18 euros. With the standard 200 to 220 working hours per month, that means a net salary of 3,000 to 3,500 euros.

The employer additionally pays a regular Christmas bonus and vacation allowance in the amount of approximately 1,500 euros. There is also the so-called BUAK, the Austrian fund for construction workers that covers vacation compensation and severance pay, in the amount of approximately 2,500 euros.

For each day of annual leave, the worker receives 42 euros, and wages are paid regularly and without delay.

Transport and accommodation are provided

Workers do not need to worry about how to get to the construction site or where to sleep. The employer provides both transport and accommodation, so those costs do not fall on the workers.

What kind of work is involved?

These are classic construction jobs: carpentry, masonry, and rebar work, formwork, and work on shuttering, according to a pre-agreed plan on the construction site. For more experienced candidates, there is also the possibility of taking on a foreman role who independently organizes the work and leads the team.

Who can apply?

Previous experience in carpentry, masonry, or rebar work is required, as well as a serious and independent approach to work. As the employer is a Slovenian company, preference is given to candidates with citizenship of one of the European Union countries or with a valid Slovenian work permit. German is not mandatory, but it is considered an advantage.
