Big News for Lidl Workers: Retail Giant Raises Wages, Pays 13th Salary and Generous Bonuses

The well-known retail chain Lidl Croatia has decided to further reward its workforce with a significant improvement in financial conditions and an expansion of the existing benefits package.
Employees in all stores and logistics centers can expect an average increase in regular earnings of 8.5% and payment of the full additional 13th salary. As reported by the portal index.hr, at the end of February the company's management had already paid all employees a special allowance in the gross amount of 500 euros as a sign of gratitude for their continuous effort.
Generous financial supplements and rewards for employees
Since operating on the Croatian market, this company has continuously worked on raising the living standard of its employees through various forms of incentives. In addition to the mentioned 13th salary in the amount of a full gross salary, employees regularly receive generous seasonal and holiday bonuses. The list of financial benefits includes a summer cash supplement in the net amount of 535 euros, a Christmas bonus of 400 euros, and an Easter bonus worth 150 euros. The employer also provides appropriate gifts intended for employees' children, a special day off for parents of first graders, and more than 40 other diverse benefits.

This year has special significance for the company because it marks exactly 20 years of its successful operation on the domestic market. The President of the Management Board of Lidl Croatia and Lidl Slovenia, Boris Lozić, emphasized on this occasion that employees are precisely the most important factor in achieving excellent business results. According to his words, the company is extremely proud of creating long-term career opportunities and regularly rewarding quality staff whom they want to retain in their workforce at all costs.
