11/20/2025

The incident occurred on November 13, 2025, at around 3:15 PM.
A serious workplace accident occurred in the Peščenica area of Zagreb, in which a 68-year-old construction worker was injured. While carrying out work at the construction site, the man fell from scaffolding that was at a height of approximately one and a half meters.
Immediately after the fall, the injured worker was given emergency medical assistance. He was transported to the Clinic for Traumatology of the Sisters of Charity Clinical Hospital Center, where a detailed examination determined that he had sustained serious injuries.
This incident, which occurred on November 13, 2025, was promptly reported and the competent occupational safety inspector from the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia was informed about it, and will conduct an investigation to determine all the circumstances and any possible responsibility for the accident. A fall from a relatively low height, unfortunately, once again emphasizes the importance of strict compliance with all occupational safety and health measures, regardless of the type or scope of construction activities.
