The net salary per employee in legal entities in Zagreb in February this year averaged 1,627 euros.

This is a nominal increase of 4% compared to January and an increase of 13.1% compared to February last year, states index.hr.

In contrast, the median net salary for February amounted to 1,332 euros, which means that half of employed Zagreb residents received less, and half more than that amount.

Highest and lowest salaries

According to data from the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for February was paid in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations and amounted to 4,039 euros.

The lowest salary was paid in other personal service activities, in the amount of 943 euros.

Zagreb average compared to Croatia

Compared to the average monthly salary for February at the level of Croatia, which amounted to 1,416 euros, the average Zagreb net salary was higher by 211 euros. The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in Zagreb for February 2025 amounted to 2,327 euros, which is an increase of 4.6% compared to January and 14% compared to February 2024.
