Glovo Shuts Down Delivery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Citing 'Greater Opportunities' Elsewhere

The Glovo platform, which originates from Spain, ceased operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 10, 2026.

After several years of operation, users in BiH can no longer order food, groceries, and other products through the app. As reported by N1 BiH, the withdrawal had already been announced back in June.

Investments are moving to other markets

Glovo explained that they want to direct money and other resources to key markets where they see greater opportunities for growth. At the same time, the company did not publish detailed business results for BiH nor did it state that the reason for leaving was weak user interest.

The decision applies only to BiH

The withdrawal from BiH does not mean that Glovo is leaving the entire region. The platform continues to operate in Croatia and other surrounding markets, while it has completely shut down its activities in BiH.

Glovo announced settlement of obligations

The company said it will fulfill all financial and legal obligations toward employees, couriers, partner restaurants, stores, and other involved parties in BiH.

With Glovo's departure, several years of its operations in BiH have come to an end. For users, the consequence is simple: from August 10, ordering through Glovo in BiH is no longer available, and restaurants, stores, and couriers have been left without one of the better-known delivery platforms.
