HEP Gives €500 Christmas Bonus, Fina €350: Some Workers Still Await Decision

Employees of the HEP group have been promised a Christmas bonus of 500 euros, and employees of Fina 350 euros.

The HNB and Hrvatska lutrija have not yet determined the amounts. Among the first to learn the amounts of the Christmas bonuses for 2026 was net.hr.

A small increase in the HEP group

Last year, the Christmas bonus in the HEP group amounted to 497.71 euros. This year's 500 euros means an increase of 2.29 euros per employee, net.hr states.

Across the entire HEP group, as of 31 August 2026, 11,889 workers were employed. How much money they will allocate in total for this year's Christmas bonuses, they could not yet specify in their response.

Fina also stated the number of recipients

Fina announced that 2,532 employees will receive a Christmas bonus of 350 euros. That is 40 more recipients than last year.

Decision in December at HNB bank

The Croatian National Bank announced a decision on the Christmas bonus for December. According to the submitted data, on 30 September it had 794 employees, and last year it paid 160 euros per person. Hrvatska lutrija said that the amount would be determined later by the Management Board.

Between the confirmed Christmas bonuses in the HEP group and Fina, the difference is 150 euros per employee. For employees of the Croatian National Bank and Hrvatska lutrija, the final answer on this year's payment still has to be made by the announced decisions.
