Herzegovinian Company Invests in Karlovac: €32 Million Factory Opens

This investment enables the creation of around one hundred new jobs.
The company Feal, which is engaged in the production of aluminum profiles, has opened new production capacities in Karlovac worth 32 million euros. The new factory is located in the Gornje Mekušje Business Zone and covers more than 17,000 square meters of production space.
Karlovac is becoming a key hub for the aluminum industry
The investment in the construction of the new factory enables the creation of around one hundred new jobs and the introduction of an advanced production line for pressing, powder coating, and mechanical processing of aluminum profiles. The production capacity of the Feal Group is thus increasing to a total of 85,000 tons per year.
For Feal Croatia director Damir Šimunović, this investment is a message that industry in Croatia has a future - sustainable, technologically advanced, and strongly focused on the community.
He also emphasized that the Feal factory in Karlovac was built in accordance with the highest sustainability standards, so the plant uses an advanced industrial water recycling system, a solar power plant has been installed on the roof of the hall, and systems for monitoring and optimizing energy efficiency are being developed in parallel with the aim of reducing energy consumption per kilogram of product by seven percent by 2029.
The statement reported by index.hr also states that with the establishment of this new plant, Karlovac is becoming a key hub for the aluminum industry in the region.
