Now Confirmed: Gas Prices in Croatia to Rise from October, Here’s How Much
09/17/2025

The Management Board of the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency (HERA) has made a decision on new tariff items for household gas supply, which will apply from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.
The new prices cover all distribution areas in Croatia and were calculated according to the applicable methodology, which includes procurement, distribution, and gas supply costs, writes the N1 portal.
According to HERA's decision, from 1 October 2025 the final gas price for households will amount to an average of 53.8 euros per megawatt-hour. When the subsidy of the Government of the Republic of Croatia is included, the price will be 50 euros per megawatt-hour. This represents an increase of 9 percent compared to the current subsidized price of 45.9 euros. Without government measures, the price increase would be even more pronounced and would amount to an average of 17.3 percent across all distribution areas.
Households in Croatia can calculate what their monthly and annual cost will be by using the digital application iPlin developed by HERA. The application displays amounts for different tariff models and distribution areas and provides an overview of all relevant information for end consumers.
