The company SmartDekor d.o.o., specialized in furnishing business interiors across the European Union, is looking for new team members. They are hiring several furniture installers (m/f) for work in Germany, Italy, France, Bulgaria, and other EU countries. The start date is possible as early as June 1, 2025, and options are open for permanent employment or a fixed-term contract.

What does a workday look like?

The position involves assembling furniture as part of outfitting shops, restaurants, hotels, and other public spaces. This includes the precise installation of shelving units, wall panels, substructures, and other elements. Everything takes place indoors, without wind, rain, or cold, which makes this position significantly more comfortable than classic outdoor construction work.

Although the job does not require heavy physical effort, skill in working with AKKU tools and the ability to precisely and efficiently follow given standards are required. Each project demands responsibility, speed, and an eye for detail.

Working in such a team often also means daily travel from one location to another, which makes this position ideal for those who enjoy dynamics, a change of environment, and working in well-arranged spaces.

What is expected from candidates?

Ideal candidates have experience in carpentry-installation work, but opportunities are also open for assistant installers who want to learn and advance. Language knowledge is not a requirement, but it is certainly an advantage, especially if you speak German, Italian, or English. Knowledge of Serbian or Croatian is additionally valued, given the international nature of the team.

The most important characteristics the employer is looking for are professionalism, precision, and seriousness at work, along with a strict ban on alcohol consumption in the workplace.
