Đuro Đaković Profit Soars 96% Year-on-Year

The Đuro Đaković Group recorded a net profit of 6.67 million euros in the first nine months of 2024.

This is an increase of 96 percent compared to the same period last year, when profit amounted to 3.37 million euros, writes the portal index.hr. The company's total revenues reached 106.9 million euros, representing growth of 19.4 percent, with the Defence and Transport segments achieving the most significant increases, 36 percent and 6.5 percent respectively, while Industry and Energy recorded a slight revenue decline of 2.7 percent.

Dominance of the transport segment and export growth

The Transport segment still holds the largest share of total revenues at 67.5 percent, while the Defence segment accounts for 8.8 percent. Exports in the first nine months of 2024 increased by 5.6 percent and reached 75.6 million euros, and by the end of 2025 the company had contracted deals worth 26.3 million euros, confirming its stable position on the international market.

Plans and capacities for the end of the year

By the end of the year, the Group plans to maintain wagon production at a level similar to 2024, with further expansion of the portfolio of transport and defence products in order to meet growing customer needs. The Defence segment is currently operating at full capacity, driven by long-term contracts with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia for equipment maintenance, while the production of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and redesigned demining machines is being successfully carried out.

Stability in industry and energy

In the Industry and Energy segment, the company ĐĐ Strojna obrada d.o.o. maintains a stable level of revenue and profitability, while ĐĐ Energetika i infrastruktura d.o.o. operates steadily thanks to energy management, which is the key component of costs and revenues. All these activities indicate that the Đuro Đaković Group is entering a stable phase of business operations, with the expected continuation of revenue growth and profit margins, the company's financial report concludes.
